I don't know if you are like me but I have my main machine, my macbook, an Ipad and an Iphone.
On my machine and macbook I have two or three different browsers that I use for testing our website etc. and wanted to have the browser bookmarks synchronise between all browsers and machines. In the evenings I may bookmark something on my Ipad that I would like to look at on my main machine the following day...
Well, I have found a really great way of doing all of this, a browser/operating system plugin from www.xmarks.com
This just runs in the background and syncs your bookmarks between all your machines and browsers (even with my Iphone and Ipad !)
Just thought a few of you may find this useful !

Rachel & Lex - Wedding Photography Sussex
It was great to meet up with Rachel & Lex last week for their pre-wedding meeting. We arranged to meet up at the stables on the South Downs where they keep their horses.
Rachel and Lex are getting married at Wiston House later this month and Henry (an ex-racehorse) is coming along as well !
The whole wedding is going to have an "Ascot" theme and I'm really looking forward to it. Wiston House is a beautiful venue and it will be great to have Henry in some of the photographs as well.
Anyway, these are a few of my favourite photographs from our pre-wedding meeting.

Technical - Lightroom 4
Well, I have loaded the latest version of Lightroom and I must say so far I'm impressed. The develop module has been changed although you won't see the changed panel until you update your images to use the latest process engine...
There is now also support for some basic corrections for video as well. This will (hopefully) make it far easier to match the look of finished video to that of the stills, especially on white balance and colour tone..
The changes in the process engine make it far easier to "pull" more dynamic range from an image. To test this I used an image taken at sunset of the South Downs, the sky was still quite bright but the landscape was lost in shadow.
These images show the photograph straight from camera (no adjustments added) and then with adjustments added from Lightroom 4 to show quite what detail you can pull out of a single RAW file.
This photograph was shot at ISO100 f8 1/30 sec using the Canon 5d2 and the Canon 24-70 f2.8 lens.

Just for fun.... the 1 minute Wedding Fair
We took one of our GoPro cameras to last Sundays wedding fair and filmed a time lapse of us building and dismantling the stand; if only we could do it this fast in real life !

Sussex Pet Photography - Poppy
We had a gorgeous puppy in the studio recently for a photo session. She was so friendly and full of life, as well as being amazingly fluffy !
These are just a few of the photographs that we took of her. All our pet portrait sessions can either be in the studio or on location, please call on 01903 816500 or email info@lisabeaney.co.uk to book your Pet Portrait Session.
For the photographers that read my blog these were all taken with the Canon 5dMk2 and the Sigma 50mm f1.4 lens
